The Town of Wilkesboro Street Department is a division of Public Works and has the responsibility of the following within the town limits and right-of-ways:

  • Public roadway maintenance

  • Street resurfacing

  • Street Sign Maintenance

  • Existing sidewalk and alley maintenance

  • Maintenance of stormwater and drainage

  • Snow and ice removal

  • Trimming and mowing of right-of-ways and sidewalk edging

  • Powell Bill Allocations
