MerleFest Camping

We're excited to announce that tent/campervan ONLY reservations for the upcoming 2026 Merlefest will open on November 4th at 9:00 AM Est through our Firefly Reservation Portal.

Approximately 200 campsites will be available for tents and campervans, following the same layout in the upper campground plus a few additional sites. Be sure to plan ahead and book early—sites are expected to fill up quickly!

We know it is tough for you guys and us with the limited availability and no RV camping. We greatly appreciate your patience as we navigate these changes.

AREAS THAT *WILL* BE AVAILABLE FOR TENT/CAMPERVAN CAMPING:

      Tom's Roost                                           Whispering Pines
Nicole's Circle                                        Aaron's Lane
 Mike's Overlook                                     Roger's Ridge
   Wickle's Hill                                            Keith's Woods
No Land Drop          Blue Jay Road (UPPER PRIMITIVE, NOT RV Sites)

  • Outside of our current construction, we have approximately 500 tent sites and 150 RV sites that have electric (30 amp) hookups; however, each RV site does not have water or sewer hookups. We also have a dump site where you can empty your holding tanks before hitting the road. Upon arriving, several yard hydrants are around the grounds for your convenience to fill your water storage or other containers.

  • We are famous for our late-night music pickin' sessions with our guests. There is music to enjoy at the festival itself and the campgrounds. Be sure to bring your instruments and join in the fun!

  • The campground also offers heated & air-conditioned shower house that have all the hot water anyone could ask for.

  • We offer free shuttle service to and from the festival. A local church provides the shuttle buses, and the drivers greatly appreciate any donations that are received. These proceeds go towards the church's Youth Fund. Shuttles run hourly to and from the festival locations.

  • We have ice for your coolers.

  • Food and beverages to purchase.

We have people from almost all 50 states to camp with us. We almost always have people from Finland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan, England, Canada, and Australia. The different range of people we have here at the campground come from all walks of life, including firemen, service technicians, doctors, lawyers, business owners, insurance adjusters, law enforcement, college students, to retired couples, and any walk in between. We also have some visitors who devote their lives to following music festivals all over the country.
