HOW TO REPORT A NUISANCE ANIMAL

To report a nuisance animal, a Town of Wilkesboro resident or residents must submit a detailed, written, and signed complaint to the Wilkesboro Police Department, 100 West Street, Wilkesboro, NC 28697 (see map below).

• Prolonged and habitual barking, howling or whining causing serious annoyance  

• Trained or taught to attack humans or other animals, or that attacks or attempts to attack people 

• Habitually turns over garbage cans 

• Habitually destroys shrubs, flowers, grass or other plants 

• Habitually kills other animals 

• Habitually performs similar acts
